• Baltic Union Executive Committee meeting

    On July 2, in Riga, Latvia, new Executive Committee (ExCom) of Baltic Union of Seventh-day Adventists (BAUC) held its first regular meeting. 18 Committee members, 2 invitees and Trans-European Division (TED) President Raafat Kamal discussed a number of issues and made decisions.   • Baltic Union Constituency Meeting 2019

    On May 23-25, in Riga, Latvia, Baltic Union Conference of the Seventh-day Adventist Church held its regular Constituency Meeting.  Delegates from all three Baltic countries came to review what’s been done, to amend BAUC Constitution and Bylaws and elect new Union leadership for the next five years. Altogether 61 delegates from Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania gathered for the Constituency Meeting.  13 delegates represented Baltic Union, 10 delegates — Estonian Conference (1 delegate missing from the meeting), 26 delegates — Latvian Conference, 6 delegates — Lithuanian Conference plus 4 delegates were invitees. Also, all three officers of the Trans-European Division were present in the Constituency Meeting – President Raafat Kamal, Secretary Audrey…

  • New Leadership Elected in the Lithuanian Conference

    28–30 September, 2017, Kaunas, LITHUANIA. 54 delegates from the 18 Adventist churches in Lithuania gathered to the Lithuanian Conference 8th constituency meeting. The theme of the constituency meeting was chosen from the book of Revelation 14:7 “Fear God and give glory to Him, for the hour of His judgment has come; and worship Him who made heaven and earth, the sea and springs of water.” This Bible text is very dear to all Adventist church members and is part of the Adventist Church mission statement.   • Ninety Year Marker For Adventists In Lithuania

    29 April 2017 | Kaunas, Lithuania. Adventists from across Lithuania and beyond joined together on Saturday, 29 April for a 90th birthday celebration. Participants were in a festive mood as the opera singer, Nomeda Kukulskienė performed, as well as the Kaunas Church adult choir, and the youth choir from the Kaunas, Kėdainiai and Šiauliai churches.     May 1–3, Rīga, Latvia. On May 1 Baltic Union Conference of the Seventh-day Adventist Church had its quinquennial constituency meeting. Delegates from all three Baltic countries came to review what’s been done and accept the new strategic plan and elect new union leadership for the next five years. Estonian, Latvian and Lithuanian conference boards chose 66 delegates to the constituency meeting. 4 delegates represented Trans-European Division (TED) and the General Conference (GC), including Trans-European Division president Bertil Wiklander and secretary Audrey E. Jan Paulsen has served as a leader in Adventist Church for 51 years, he was a dean of Newbold college (UK), president of the Trans–European Division of the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventist Church and finally president of the General Conference. During these years he’s accumulated lots of knowledge and experience, has taught many students theology and has raised many new church leaders.   • Focus on Revival and Reformation in the Baltic Union

    Riga, Latvia [Guntis Bukalders, tedNEWS] Dr. Pardon Mwansa, the Vice-President of General Conference (GC) of the Seventh-day Adventist Church visited the Baltic countries (Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania) on the 21st and 26th January 2011.
